ROOP NIWAS KOTHI
A Distinctive Hotel Experience
In 1928, Rawal Madan Singh the scion of the erstwhile estate of Nawalgarh, Rajasthan gave a complete makeover to Roop Niwas converting his country house and stables into his permanent home.
Later, in 1981, he opened his doors to guests so they could enjoy the hospitality of the family managed Roop Niwas.
Presently, Rawal Devendra Singh, with his wife and daughter, continue that tradition and welcome guests with the same warm hospitality as their ancestors.
Guests at Roop Niwas are cocooned in beautiful lush surroundings where they can relax to bird song, sun bathe near the pool or enjoy a dip in its azure waters. There is plenty to do outside the premises of Roop Niwas Kothi as well.
Our guests can take in the surrounding countryside of the Shekhawati region on horseback, or tour Nawalgarh town, often viewed as the largest open art gallery of Rajasthan, with its display of lovely old frescoes that adorn several of the town’s buildings. The town’s colorful bazaars offer a chance to witness the frenzied pace of life as Nawalgarh runs to keep pace with the rest of India.
